Do you have a motto or favorite quote?
How do you feel about the economy and/or the quality of the job our President is doing?

Do you ever worry about the age of some of the heroes (or villains) out there? One of the girls on my team just turned 14. How young is too young for fighting for justice?
Since all of my heroes and villains, with one notable exception, are well over the age of consent I don't have that problem. And in Justice's case (the one exception) she's the victim of her child molesting partner Truth so her age is a moot point.
How was everyone's weekend? What did you end up doing?
I spent most of the weekend fighting with my computers, trying to get it to load DCU Online. Finally managed it Sunday afternoon, and ran out of time to actually play it. :E

No, I don't believe that by declaring ownership over another living being in that way. If you love someone you should take it upon yourself to prove it to them every day, rather than relying on symbols and ritual.
The fact that the entire concept of marriage was formed around the idea that a man should be able to claim sole breeding rights to a woman is not only archaic but downright insulting.
In philosophy it states that opposites are necessary in order to create the universe. If this is the case, since one polar is considered to be "good", the opposite polar being "bad" or in the case presented "evil", is evil a necessity for order?
By the limits given in the question, yes evil is required for 'order' to exist. The problem is that with the terminology you're using you fail to accept that evil can in itself be a form of order, while 'good' deeds can also be chaotic in nature.
Another view to consider is that any action may be considered good or evil depending on the viewpoint of someone outside the events. Also only by comparison can we truly state whether something is indeed good or evil.
In a world where everyone obeys the rules and respects one another there would still be those who would be viewed as less pure, or more evil, than others. By comparison in a world ruled by greed and self-interest there would be those who were deemed to be less evil than their compatriots.
There is a saying "Art upsets, science reassures", do you believe this is true and why or why not?
Yes. i follow the old definition that states that art is anything which illicits an emotional reaction in the viewer, no matter whether that reaction is positive or negative.
Science on the other hand should only be reached through careful analysis and purity of thought. People who allow emotions to enter into the equation will usually see the results they want, rather than those that are actually there.
DO you believe in destiny?
No. I believe in the random chaos of the universe, that everything which happens is a result of cascading causes which shape events in the present.
We are who we were raised to be, and who out experiences has taught us to be. The only destiny is that which we are shaped to accept, and depending upon our upbringing different people may choose different fates.
How do you define Happiness? What methods do you use to attain it?
Happiness is the state of perfect union between the body, the mind and the soul. The point at which you can find perfect serenity without distraction or distress.
I've found the best way to achieve this is when lying in the arms of a lover, shortly after having achieved physical perfection several dozen times. :D

Would you say you have a lot of will power, or that you are easily overcome by your passions, emotions and hardships?
I'd like to think I have a lot of willpower. For instance I gave up smoking cold turkey a few years back and have never gone back to it since. Plus there's a whole tub of ice cream in the fridge and I haven't eaten it all yet, which is always a good test of willpower.
Now if you don't mind I have to just pop to the fridge to... clean it out a little. XD

Do you have lucid dreams, where you are aware that you're dreaming and can assert some control over the dream?
All the time. Usually I'm winding back and forth, reworking certain sections of them so they fit better and waking up with a full memory and a great story.
Unfortunately I then have to go to work and by the time I get home most of the story's been lost and I can't be bothered writing the scraps down. :(

No, people should never knowingly take actions which will harm others without carefully weighing the consequences first. The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few, but the few shouldn't be sacrificed for simply the comfort of the many.
