What's the first thing that you usually notice about someone you meet?
Body language. I check out the way they hold themselves and the way they move. It says a lot more about a person than anything they may tell you.
Do you think Watson will win on Jeopardy or do you think man will triumph over machine?
Machines can always beat a human at a specific task, as they were built with that goal in mind.
What people forget is that man (or more accurately woman :P) can adapt to varying situations far better than a machine, which would forever be stuck in the same role.
Sure a machine might beat a human on a quiz show, but put that same machine in a cage fight and see how long it lasts. >D

Is it still 'expected' that after marriage, a newly wed couple's first trek together is one toward parenthood?

Mute. I could get by quite easily without having to use my voice to communicate with, but I'd hate not to be able to see what my pets were doing or hear the sounds they made while they did.

I'm half Japanese by ancestry but completely American by culture. Should I have to explain that all the time? Why can't I just be accepted as full-on American? It's hard enough being from parallel dimension.

If you wrote a book or story, would it be fictional or nonfiction? What would it be about? Where do you draw your inspiration from?
It'd be a fictional fantasy adventure where a group of rogues kidnap a princess and hold her hostage while a dark magician assaulted the kingdom. The twist would be that the magician needed to capture the princess in order to cast a world destroying spell, but since the rogues had her safely tucked away she, and the world, would be safe.
It's inspired by the tale of the raven who stole the Sun and the Moon in order to prevent the forces of darkness and light becoming too powerful.
If you were a character in any fictional setting, who would you be and from what 'scene'? I would likely be Alice, falling down, down the rabbit hole.
I'd love to be Ellen Ripley from Aliens, from the scene near the end of the film where she appears in the walker for the second time. :D

Yes. Just from the basic mechanical way the brain is built and the bloodflow in the retina, which is unique to the point of being used as an infallible form of identification, I can't see how two people could experience exactly the same image when viewing it.
I always liked the old example of two people looking at a branch and one seeing it as orange while the other sees purple. Since both of them have been taught from birth that the colour they are seeing is actually called green how would you be able to tell they are seeing different colours. Without cracking open their skulls and jamming probes into their brain and optic nerve.

If someone were to write a movie based on your life, or a portion of it, what would you want to ensure was included? What would you want excluded?
I'd definitely want my relationship with Charlotte to play a major part, and the scene with the dog when I was thirteen would have to be cut, in the name of good taste and decency.

Depends on how they act. For instance Zatanna once smoked pot in canon (while celebrating John Constantine's birthday) but since she behaved reasonable and no-one got hurt I have no problem with it. She's an adult and if she wants to indulge let her.
On the other hand Hancock's drunken flying, taking out roadsigns and putting other people in jeopardy, makes me think a great deal less of him. But with the crappy ending to that film I didn't have a high opinion to start with.
